As I write this I see a new wave of change coming in this world of ours. It is time people stand up for what they believe and make their voices heard.
I have seen too much oppression lately, in many ways. It is not just the poor, but they are the main victims. There are also children who are part of the human evolutionary process that are born with hightened abilities who have been oppressed and threatened with physical violance because they can do things others can not. The religeous blinders close them out, and many believe them to be evil or possesed by Demons, threatened with Exorcism and torture....possibly death. This ignorance must stop if they are to change the future.
I have also seen a new form of slavery taking place especially in the southern states of America. This new form is hidden by desperation. This form is landlord slavery. The poor have little chance of rising above it. These landlords use the need for a roof over their heads to take advantage of them and use them as slaves.....even sex slaves. I have seen this recently when a landlord rented to a single woman with minor brain damage due to a head injury. She was desperate for a home and could only afford what he charged. She came to my door terrified one night at 10:30 asking if I could come to her house because she thought someone was in her basement. I then became her Spiritual Advisor and counciled her with her emotional problems.
Once she was moved in he began charming her and telling her she was lucky to even have a house to live in. he began making her cook for him, intimidating her with threats of violance and eviction. Then he moved his possesions into her home. The last thing he did was post a private property sign and tell her she could not have company or a boyfriend and that she belonged to him!
She was finally forced to leave when she refused his advances and he threatened to kill her dog and burn her possesions! Even the police could not stop him. One officer told me this was no the first tme this landlord did this kind of thing. This ....people....is slavery! Plain and simple! He also forced another renter to help him threatening to evict her without notice if she did not. This is blackmail!
Why is this allowed in the south? Is the south no part of our whole country or do they have their government? Did President Lincoln waste his time? Was all the work and death of Martin Luthor King for nothing?
