I was wondering if anyone had any knowledge of exactly what is required as an officiant to perform a mariage in Maryland. My best friend asked me to perform his mariage next month and i want to get everything in order that i need A.S.A.P. When looking up MD laws for officiants i can't find anything on what proof needs to be persented for the state that you are actually ordaned. Thank you!!!
You don't need to show proof in MD, but if you have a business card or a copy of your ordination, you can send that in with the marriage license.
