Friends of mine are getting married and expressed to me that they
wanted a Pagan wedding hut were having trouble finding an officiant.
I haven't married a couple in over five years, but knew I could and
offered my time and participation as a wedding gift.
In helping them to plan their special day, in guiding them along the
rites that will help them express their love and dedication to their
community, I've been feeling like I've been wrapped in an old
comforter just out of the dryer. I began to realize that I missed
this, a lot!
Those of us who serve spiritually are built, I think, in such a way as
to gain fulfillment through that service, and I'm very glad that my
friends were able to help remind me of that.
