Bright Ray of Hope
When darkness fell and broke me
Your light & spell awoke me!
I came to life amid the death
And the sweet smell of your breath!
I felt the love and good vibration
And knew it was time for celebration
For in my heart, eternity grew
Because my spirit truly knew,
That it was you whom I love,
My mother father from above
You gave me a new incarnation
To become a new creation
And though I knew you not
Tis only you my soul sought.
By allowing my soul to roam
It only knew that coming home
By a totally different path
Would undo the constant wrath
That caused my heart to cry.
But now I understand why!
So let me shout from mountains high
With voices singing, music nigh!
Trumpets will blow and angels sing,
Nations will fall and ears will ring!
And when all seems dark as night,
The joy will come and bring the Light.
When at last I think I cannot cope,
Then I’ll discover the bright ray of hope!
