Homegrown Future

  • There are three essential schools in society: (1) The school of Home where parents are the teachers in the nuclear family. (2) The school of learned Academia where prepared educators are the teachers in a multi-home, social prep-school/training environment. (3) The school of Art and Religion, which is a higher school of emotional and spiritusl studies taught by spiritual teachers, guides, mystics, philosophers. prophets, healers, poets, seers, evangelists, scientists good and story tellers.  This is the triad of education for our citizens.

In my view, The school of home is elementary school. The school of Social Academic Training is Junior School. The school of Art and Religion is Senior school. Beyond this there are higher 'colleges' and 'academies of knowledge' for those with a thirst for in depth study and practice.

The first school, the elementary Home School, is where the foundation of all future education is laid.  All students of all higher schools come from some home school. Home School prepares a student for all subsequent education and shapes the way in which a young mind learns (by example) how to consider impressions, ideas and opinions and how to act and react in various encounters.

Having said this in preamble, I will now raise a topic sure to spark a bit of lively discussion.

My topic is a question, like a poll for ideas and commentary.  It is this:

'Should ministers, spiritual guides, teachers, sages or counselors, encourage, or support, gay and/or lesbian couples in the adoption and  the 'nuclear family' home school education of a child?'

I will reserve my opinion until asked. I am curious about the general beliefs of ULC ministers on this question  - AA

Mark Noeth O.D.H., Esoteric Theorist and Practioner Anthony I was refering to orphans and I would add I think two mothers would be better than two dads. I have nothing really to base this on except the fact that my mother died when I was very young and my father raised me and he was resonably clueless.

Charles Lee, Jr Carl Jung has been quoted, "Show me a sane man and I'll cure him."
Normal and abnormal are, most often, subjective opinions since there's no clear leader or lay person that can say the always treat people with unconditional love.

I can't say either coupl...  more

Kevin Johnson It is my believe that the importance is not on the 'sexuality' of the couple in question but more in their ability, initiative to perform the roles of 'teacher' to the child(ten). Far too often are decisions made by a society that rules based on what is ...  more
