Born Again?

  • Addition:

It was my hope to provoke the reader to exam not so much as the definition of a word, but the end manifestation or lack thereof of the implied word.

The importance of Faith / Trust in the word or God (his Christ) is pivotal to the Born Again scenario.

Obedience to Christ is not optional, neither is the mandate that we must be born again.

The Disciples detected new converts not by their professions but by their reaction to being filled.

True, not every Christian goes about performing the miracles that Jesus performed, and yet, any vessel, should he or she trusting in Christ by faith can do anything.

My aim is to first suggest to people that being born again encompasses more than a desire coupled with a profession.

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is unmistakable by the one being baptized.

It is something that they will never forget and something that no one will be able to dissuade them of.

Being Born Again is not something that someone has to convince you of; you will know it because it is something that every Christian experiences.

It is my hope that those who truly want salvation will consider the possibility that the Pentecost experience is the method by which god has chosen.

    Thank you,

    Minister Stokes
