Dreams

  • Dream a little dream?

Dreams, what are they and why are they, do we know? I have my own spin about them, possibly in my humnle opinion, this is unfinished business from a previous event or an event yet to happen and we are continouslly running a replay in our minds to to watch the events unfold.

Another explanation may be we work through our fears and rather than acting in or on them personally, we detach ourselves from them physically not mentally, then we set them in motion once again playing through different scenarios and recording the results.

There is for me, one other interpretation, it is that someone, or something is trying to reach out to you and the only time they are able to contact you is when you are most relaxed and able to listen intently and without distraction. All of my ideas of what dreams are have but a single conclusion of why they are and again (IMHO), I believe them to be warnings for our own safety/security for the present and our futures.

How will you/I interpret these dreams? Well, I do look to current events in my life to see where I may have stresses I am struggling with, for myself that seems the most likely candidate. However, every now and then a real humdinger of a dream will surface and it may be so absurd or abstract I can't remember it entirely, only pieces remain for me and sometimes putting them together requires skills I do not possess.

So, how do we interpret these piecemeal dreams, is there a place or person who can reveal any underlying meaning in them? Maybe, you will seek counsel with someone to help you interpret these dreams. Do you believe in psychic ability, I do, yet I believe that this is a gift and is a foresightness as are dreams, only with this ability you are able to see events unfold consciously. This kind of gift, I believe to be from God, or if you would like a higher power. The claim to have such a gift, is often abused and the abusers only intent is not to interpret your dreams, rather it is to take your money, you would be better served by the magic eight ball, LOL.

If you must have the meaning of these dreams revealed to you, I suggest you start where you may always have and that would be with your family and friends. Another source could be, if you are so inclined to look there, is in the Bible. In the Bible you may not find meaning for your dreams, you just might find meaning for your life. Many a man/woman in the Bible consulted mediums/seers only to find themselves in trouble because they forgot to seek God first.

This next link reveals who I seek counsel with when I truly have a need to know what I should do in my life.Sometimes dreams, as I stated earlier could be someone or thing, possibly GOD trying to get our attention. Here are a couple verses from the Bible.

    Genesis 40:8 (New International Version)

8 "We both had dreams," they answered, "but there is no one to interpret them."
Then Joseph said to them, "Do not interpretations belong to God? Tell me your dreams."

    Joel 2:28 (New International Version)

    The Day of the LORD

    28 "And afterward,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your old men will dream dreams,
your young men will see visions.

Dreams good and bad, they are a part of us and we should consider what they are trying to tell us, especially if they repeat with the same theme
