I write this post today to try to make a little more sense of the world we live in. The following are my beliefs...and my beliefs only. I am not making a political statement and will delete those comments that try to politicize my beliefs.
It is my belief that each and every one of us (by way of our Soul) came into the physical realm for a purpose….and that purpose is to Love. There are many definitions of Love. What I am talking about is the complete unconditional Love that God/Spirit gives to each of us. That is what makes our Soul shine and expresses the fact that we are all God's/Spirit's children….made from Him/Her by Him/Her. God/Spirit is LOVE….that is it, plain and simple. Because our Souls are made of complete and unconditional Love the only purpose for them to be here is to increase in that Love.
I believe that each and every one of us is playing our “part” (which we agreed to before we even came here) in this drama we call life. Since our purpose for being here is to Love, we are given opportunities, situations and challenges (and some of them are HUGE) in order to “practice” what we came here to do. In the end...we are first Divine beings (because our spirit/energy lives infinitely) and then “humans”. We are here (on Earth) for a very short period of time (in the scheme of things)….so this does not give us very long to learn our lessons and practice our purpose.
I also believe that the reason we are seeing more violence in the world is because fear perpetuates fear and violence perpetuates more violence. (Read Power vs. Force by David R Hawkins). Love is the most powerful feeling/emotion in the Universe and can overcome anything. If everyone could grasp this and put it into practice Love would take over the planet. There would be no more wars and violence because it could not exist (at least for very long) amidst the power of Love. If you read the above book you will understand what I mean.
I know what I am saying is unfathomable to some and deplorable to others….but….this is what God/Spirit teaches us. If we let those that would strike fear and hate into us “win”, then there will just be more of the same brought into the world.
In conclusion….we MUST show Love and Compassion to those less fortunate than ourselves and be the Divine beings that we ARE because THAT is what we are meant to do (for God/Spirit and our Souls) and why we came here; and just maybe....by doing this, make the world a better place for all generations to come.
