A theory on Demons.

  • This is a thought, an idea, a possibility perhaps. Is it true, maybe, maybe not. Do I believe in the theory I am writing? No, I rather believe all souls are at the beginning good, and all lost souls can become good again. So why do I write this? I write this because I wish to know what others think, because it is a form of sharing knowledge. I apologize for my lack of any references, but so far everything I have seen is not attached to any holy scripture, or to any historic fact. I wouldn't have wrote this but a friend and fellow minister and me were discussing this idea, and they thought it was worth me writing. So I am writing.

“The birth of a Demon...” - Some say a Demon is born from the souls of the wicked. Others say that demons are the worst of the evil promoted to the rank of demon. Others say Demons are children of Lilith and Satan. According to some Demons are in our heads, created to blame our troubles upon. Yet others say That Lucifer can create them much in the manner of God creating Adam, and that he can create infinite legions of them to do our bidding. Are any of them correct? What do you believe?

Almost all faiths speak of demons. Yet I have yet to find a reference to the birth of a demon, or the creation of a demon. I wonder often in my personal beliefs if demons are metaphorical in the holy works of the faiths.

For this though I am focusing on the notion that the Devil can create as many demons as he sees fit. Also I am going off Revelations 7:4 claims And I heard how many were marked with the seal of God--144,000 were sealed from all the tribes of Israel.” Now also some faiths believe in reincarnation, even the Bible speaks of Rebirth, (John 3:3) “Jesus answered and said to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” It is rather apparent from looking at all faiths, that there is some form of rebirth, whether spiritually into Heaven or Hell, or back onto Earth. These things I mention because they are the keys to this theory.

If 144,000 are saved, and if those 144,000 were chosen by God long ago, The names appearing in the book of life, and until Armageddon comes they remain on the Earth, reincarnated until that day. Then the resulting population according to many beliefs say all others will meet with the Lake of Fire. So if The Devil can create infinite demons, then maybe perhaps all the bad, and all the suffering, and all the greed are done by demons.

All people are born, but in the thought Either the child is a demon, or a child of God. A child of God can be born to two who were children of Satan, and a child of Satan can be born to two children of God, and perhaps one of Gods children may have offspring with one of the devils Children.

This would explain why the good people are always walked on, and saying like “It doesn't pay to be good.” Often we see in our jobs, and on our streets, and in the news, bad people getting ahead. Corrupt politicians, Judges, lawyers, doctors, even ministers. Our streets have gangs, murderers, thieves and rapists, our prisons are over flowing. We see Lazy people at our jobs get promoted while they do nothing, we see husbands beat their wives and children, we see all kinds of evil. There is almost no where you can turn and not see it somewhere, or hear it. It is also said, “Good people are hard to come by.” Why is it so hard? Because there isn't enough of them.

I myself think it has more to do with how we raise our children, the morals they learn, the things that influence them later, what they are taught, and how society raises them. Society has away of telling people how to believe and live. Not very long ago, only one family member worked, and it was enough to raise a family on for most. That left a parent to take care of the children. Not long ago teachers could actually punish badly behaved children, but today Teacher's often ignore it, as if it might go away. Not long ago children were raised with hard work, my Grandfather worked the fields with his Father in his spare time, today children play all day, no cares, no worries. The sense of accomplishment has turned into more an ego trip. Once upon a time man stood tall over his field and could breathe a breath of fresh air, and say, “This has all been worth it.” Now a man has to show his worth, his car, his house, his toys. It isn't good enough to know one has provided for others anymore, now one has to provide for himself, and not just provide, but over provide, while stepping on others. Women have become much the same, they used to nurture the children, they had pride when their children would do good. Now a child comes home and says, “I made an A on my test.” The parents just say, “That's nice, go watch TV.” In the past a child would catch a fish, the parents would praise them, today they are more likely to hear how it is wrong to harm the ecosystem, and that it stinks, or just “that's nice now go watch TV.”

I don't believe at all that the devil makes demons and that most of the people on the planet are his creation, while only the 144,000 of Gods choose are truly good people. I know to many good people, out of the 7 Billion people on the Earth, the chances I would meet a good soul then would be nearly infinitesimal.

Always remember a theory is just a theory, a theory doesn't always reflect belief. Any thoughts, I'd love to hear them.
