"Scamming" in the name of Enlightenent

  •   I left a little while ago to check my e-mail and I recieved an e-mail from the Messanger network. I subscried to them a long time because they seem like a great orgaization but overtime stopped reading their e-mails. But tonight, tonight I felt the pull to click that button and open up an important message that I KNEW would chage my life. Seriously, I thought this was the golden cup I was searching for, an opportunty to be a part of somethng great that would help change the world. At least that is what the e-mail said. So it said to click on the link to watch the video and I spent the whole 17 minutes about this great opportunity, to be a part of their movie, to be oe of the authors of their book and to get my message to millions of people aroud the world!! I could be one of the 100 people that was chosen for their 4 month audition and have the chance to be one of then ten who will actually be a part of this.

After the video, all  had to do was click on another link to get started on the next step. So anxiously I clicked on the button that said "Click HERE to register to be one of the 100 messangers!" and right underneath it cost $345.00. Now I remembered why I stopped opening their e-mails! So I thought about it. You have to pay over $300.00 just to audition and you don't get a refund if your not chosen. Why on God's earth would you give these people that much money in order to post a couple of videos on their web-site and make you "promote" your videos under THEIR name and web-site?

I was really dissapointed because I really thought this was the opportunity I was waintig for. Then I thought about it. I was going to do this anyway's...FOR FREE on youtube. Spirituality is not big buisness, it's a HUGE buisness and organzations like these are the reason why I am not part of any orgaizations! I don't see what right people have to scam people out of their money under the label of "spirituality". These people want to make a movie about their organization, but in order to get the money to cover the costs of the film, he has to scam 100 people out of over $300.00. It really makes me sick.
