Something to say

  • As we go through life, we grow, we change, we adapt...

    Shit happens, Plans change; It's just the way of life...

    So why when we need to make changes to our lives it is so hard...

    We do as we say "as we've always done" yet say things like " I wish I was who I used to be" or " I wish things could go back to the way they were."

    What does that mean any way?

    We are who we are but not the way we've always been;

    We do what we do but not necessarily the way we've always done it.

    What needs to be, Will be..........

    But as people of free will, we ponder, we excuse our faults and don't like being told how and what to do...

    And some of us choose to give up our choices, allowing others to make them for us; There for nothing is truly our fault, it was their choice not ours...

    True: Their choices are not our fault...

    True: We shouldn't blame ourselves for their choices...

    Also True: We must take responsibility for our choice to give up...

    We took an easy out, as difficult a road it may have been.

    Now what has been made harder is our new choices, the ones we make for ourselves, the ones we have to take responsibility for, the ones that effect every one around us; Our parents, our siblings, our children,our lovers, and especially ourselves...

    See it's not making change itself that's so hard after all;

    But the thought process that goes along with real change.
