    My world it’s still spinning

    The changes immense

    Feelings are raw

    Emotions intense

     

    My strength of will

    Challenged this day

    Loneliness and fear

    Are now holding sway

     

    I’ve can quite hold on

    My foolish mind

    It’s taken over my heart

    But it’s just for a time

     

    Soon I will be back

    To the woman I know

    But right now this weakness

    Has got me in tow

     

    I know it’s all part

    Of the process of pain

    And when it is over

    More strength will be gained

     

    It’s just surprising to me

    How the pendulum swings

    How we can be knocked down

    By the smallest of things

     

    My health is it is good

    My refrigerator is full

    I don’t know why I complain

    For this emotional low

     

    But I have work to do

    My calling is clear

    I can’t get it done

    With sadness so near

     

    So if you’ve a moment

    I ask on my knee

    When you say your prayers

    Will you say one for me
