I Surrender

  •

And hope makes us not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. Romans 5:5

“Surrender is for everyone! “If, after a period of time, we find ourselves in trouble with our recovery, we have probably stopped doing one or more of the things that helped us in the earlier stages of our recovery.” (N.A, Just Today)

Today it is within my hope that we find that love of the Giving of the Holy Spirit.  It is within the God from within us that God is with us.  What is that to some of us, that we are following Christ promise that he sent the Holy Spirit to keep us safe, protect us from corruption and finally raise us up in the last days of our appointed life that we are ordained to walk in the spirit, and that spirit keeps us alive forevermore.  It is within that promise we are followers of Christ, not because he is God’s Son only, but that he has sent us a comforter to help us, assist us and be God within us to get us through the labor pains of righteousness.  It is with this encouragement that we are as a people whole and blessed that are considered to be saved from the destruction of death that we are to be fruits of the spirit.

This is why it is in our best interest to use our surrendered time to be generous and giving for the sake that we have the upper advantage in life as blessed heirs of the inheritance of a faith that is through the Son of God that some will not believe or have doubt of its authority over death.  It is within this mercy that we must not fail to remember that some will not have this comfort that they are living in the resurrected life of Christ, baptized by the Holy Spirit, and their hope is not or will not fail.  Therefore they will not be ashamed by confessing that they will never die.  It is within that surrender that we are saved in Christ, and the Holy Spirit keeps us present and blameless of death that we are heirs of the future and not the past.

I know sometimes it is hard to understand faith and those who believe in such a hope of everlasting life.  It is frightening to think that life is longer than 70 years.  Even, to wrap your mind around approval of God.  Who can escape the extinction of earth, creation and those that miss the mark of life?  It is not a suicide attempt to unite with Grace, but it is a suicide to walk away from it.  The religious wars are based not on salvation or redemption because death and killing; the rule of death that our hearts are not pure or compassionate.  It is within my hope and prayer that we are not going to be a generation that is remembered as those that sleep, but awakened.  I remember the story of Enoch who walked with God, but many fail to recite the story that he also had a city that went with him and God.  This city was also protected by God, approved by God, and therefore, lifted and surrendered to the blessings of God’s mercy.

“Today remember that your recovery is not based on trouble and addictions, but of hope and faithfulness to that hope surviving from daily surrendering.” ~Keisha
