As a Christian……
Why do people use this as some kind of Badge, or authoritative doctrine. You think by saying this it gives you all knowing authority to put down someone or condemn their action and makes you right?
I recently was what I would call re confirmed as a Minister. I had done this years ago but I take it very seriously and wanted to further my education and commitment before acting or publicly announcing it as I know the type of response I would get.
So why am I surprised, maybe because it was from someone I consider a friend and a Christian. Maybe I should not have been surprised but my goodness I did not expect the “As a Christian” thing from this person. Its not like I am preaching at a Church though if asked I would. I did this as I love to bring Joy and how better then to do Weddings, house blessing etc.
Well I’ve decided to bring this to where I know I am accepted and not judged. I appreciate my Brothers, Sisters and fellow Reverends and Ministers, etc here. Thanks for listening.
We may walk this earth alone in body but we always have the Spirit inside us to guide and teach us.
