Persistance in Prayer

  • Too many times I have fallen to my knees because I felt I had no where or no one else to turn to. Ive called on my family and have been shunned. I've called on my mother because I know she lives me. I've cried out to my praying grandmother because I know her spiritual connection with God, but one fact still remains that even through my trials and tribulations through being shunned out and shuck up that no matter how much love my mother had for me and not even through the many lines of communication my grandmother had with God; until I learned how to pray and ask "HIM" for what I needed and believed in my prayers, falling to my knees was just an excercise.

Prayer is defined as a direct line of communication with God. Prayer is the "can you hear me now" format at verizon. Prayer is the amount of time it takes to write and submit a facebook message or tweet for all the world to see. Prayer is the energy used to type and send a text message via your cell phone. My point is the amount of time it takes to submit these lines or means of communication is the amount of time it takes to submit a prayer to a source which is EFFECTIVE!

Persistant prayer is that prayer that comes from within your soul, that drains you upon your calling to God. Persistant prayer is that soul saving prayer that fills your spirit with such energy and force that your prayer could move things and shift things in order around you. Persistant prayer is that prayer that acts like a direct urgent telegram same day to God, that has a million dollar insurance attached to make sure it gets to him.

Persistant prayer is not a fearful prayer, its not a doubtful prayer its not a sometimes, maybe he will get it, i dont know if its worth my time prayer. Persistant prayer is a faithful prayer, a trusting prayer its one of those Father God here I am prayers, save me!

Some folks fail to realize that we pay so much for lines of communication to talk and speak to those around us who cant save us. They neglect to use the free source that always...always comes on time! Seek your open line of communication with God, he is never to busy to talk to you!

    PRAY UNTIL SOMETHING HAPPENS!!!!!!

    Prayer works!

Corwyn Stone Great blog entry. I've never heard of 'persistent prayer' before, but it says a lot about our faith when we connect with our Deities. You've said it: ASK - BELIEVE - RECEIVE!
