Exodus 7:1 says that: "the LORD speaks to Moses: See i made you as God to Pharoah, and Aaron your brother shall be your Prophet."
God is powerful enough to make Moses to God to Pharoah. And this same thing that happen during the canonization of saints.
But we who live right now are the present gods of this world, because our essense comes from one powerful God who gave life to all.
We do not claim to be God and to blaspheme our Creator by claiming the position of being Almighty.
God is telling that we are in charge (god) of this mundane world (pharoah). And not Pharoah to be god over us.
