Regarding 'Saving'

  • Ok,

Time for me to get on the soap box, what follows is addressed to ALL, not just Christians....

This is a ministerial forum, its function is for discussion and networking among persons of all faiths, or even no faith. This being the case what is NOT acceptable here is:

Insulting anothers faith, or lack of faith.

Trying to "save" anyone here, most on this forum already know at least the basics about; Christ, Buddha, Allāh, Rev. Moon, etc etc. if not the main ULCM site provides very good resources on most world religions.

I apply the word "Saving" as well to those of non faith who feel it is their mission to 'save' believers from belief.

Now having said that, citing your religious text of choice is your right, as is offering good will blessings in your deities name. These should not automatically be seen as an attack but rather as they are intended, usually as a positive thought. Ministers will occasionally post a short prayer, this is also usually intended as a positive thought.

e.g. : An Islamic member offers blessings in General for the time of Ramadan .

The correct response to a clearly positive wish is "Thank you". They are not insisting you change your beliefs, simply wishing you well during a time that is special to them.

e.g. 2: A minister posts a quote from the Torah and comments on it. They are simply commenting and sharing their interpretation. Accept it as such!

ok off the box, Blessings to all.
