Welcome to the ULC Minister's Network

Rev. Vivian Mary Graciolett

From afar:

  • From Afar distance is measured according to length

To love from afar takes courage and strength

Truly defining a love between two friends

A man and a woman which some can't comprehend

In a world where so many are unable to trust

Hard to imagine such a thing without lust

Looking beyond the physical to see something rare

Truly speaks volume of how much one cares

Knowing that some are not meant to be

From afar you build and share a love unconditionally

Fondness and admiration is what one detects

As they share a great sense of honor and respect

Based not on perception but one of true merit

They are able to see that the other wears it

From afar yet so close is the bond that's forged

That so many overlook or simply ignore

To stand in love you're never without it

To fall in love is where so many doubt it

From afar you are guaranteed not to miss a thing

You'll see the overall picture and know what it means

Given a chance to grow it can enrich each others life

Despite what other's may think who's to say they are right

Seeing love of a different kind to them doesn't exist

For they see love as something like hit or miss

But to love from afar there's no need to speculate

It comes from within no need to regulate

It's given freely and there's no price to pay

Thus there can never be a lost for what God has sent your way.
