  • In the process of interacting within a group that is comprised of very diverse membership, conflicts are bound to happen. They will, however, happen much less frequently and be much less severe if we can keep positive and loving thoughts in mind toward our fellow ministers. This is a devotional on 'Acceptance' that was printed in the Daily Word Magazine by Unity School of Christianity.

And one way we can be sure that our differences do not cause conflict is to honor the diversity of one another's beliefs and characteristics, cultures and traditions. Supported and encouraged with this kind of acceptance, we live together in harmony. We perceive and appreceiate the magnificence of one another as God's creations. Treating all people as children of God, we are acknowledging that all are unique expressions of divine life and creativity. As we extend unconditional love and acceptance to others, we honor the spirit of God within them and celebrate the diversity that God has created. - I celebrate and give thanks for the diversity that God has created."
