Deep within is sorrow

  • Another poem, enjoy!

"Deep within is sorrow, no time to borrow. I close my eyes and try to forget all the lies. I open them again and see all that has been wasted, I have now tasted the darkness and it consumes me. Try to flee my enemy but know that you will forever be in my grasp. In my grip you begin to gasp but no air is there for you to take in. Sin! What is sin, I do not know! To me there is no such thing and to hopes I do not cling. Deep within is sorrow, no time to borrow. I see before me a great being, I cant believe what I am seeing. Should I bow? Or should I stand? He takes his hand and extends it to me, tells me to open my eyes and see. With the things that are around, I stand in owe and fall to the ground! Am I truly illuminated? Great muse show me the things that you have illustrated!"
