I feel I should give some backstory to my beliefs. For a very long time now I have been astray from my faith. Whether it was from misguidance, apathy or indifference, I can't be exactly sure, but I was very angry or mistrusting of God for quite some time. Recent events however have lead me back to the light. I only have my best friend to thank for that. He showed me that faith is just that, faith. If I just show some faith I will be a better person for it. And he also lead me here and I believe that by ordaining, my faith can become even stronger. Now I am taking the steps back to the Lord and His love. I know it will take discipline and sacrifice, but I am ready to take it on now. The first step was going through the ordaining process with the ULC. I find the belief structure of this community very uplifting. I know that whatever my beliefs are, I will be accepted here and that is what will keep me going.
