Playing a song I have heard.
Listening to the sounds that I feel.
Rolling a run, with a trill, no big deal.
It's just me and I'm having some fun.
If my feelings are right,
I will sleep well tonight.
Because the music I'm feeling today,
Is the music that I need to play.
The notes will come as soon as they're called.
The words escape me for now.
However, the thoughts that are firmly affixed,
Are thoughts that I cannot control.
So let it continue, move forward, unchecked.
Let it sail untethered and free.
It's only a song that I hold in my mind.
