I took a turn today
And it was an unpaved road
As only few had traveled it
there was curves and bends
hills and bumps along the way
it seemed to go on forever
very narrow but still a road
there were signs and warnings to keep
on that road and not let me detour
As I traveled along I felt the presence
of someone watching over me
making sure I was safe all
along the way as if I made a
wrong turn to the left or to the right
Surely this was the right road and the right way
as I had been down many roads before
with never having the assurance of
what was ahead as I have now
It is the road to my Salvation
