The dog's or the squirrel's path to enlightenment?

  • If you are seeking a path to enlightenment, then you have come to the wrong place. I have no path for you to take. My dog turned the other way is god! The path you are on is the only path for you to take. If you take my path, it will not be the way you need to go. I don't need your path either. We all walk the same path to enlightenment. Some just think you get there, by a path. Breath in and then breath out! How can you get to where you already are? Enlightenment is BEING. Enlightenment is like trying to cross the ocean to the other shore, discovering you are already there. Enlightenment is like waking up from the illusion of life, knowing that everyone else is still dreaming. You have to go back to the illusion in order to participate in the BIG DREAM. Enlightenment is knowing unconditional love and being that with intention, voice and action. Breathing in the illusion/the darkness and breathing out the truth/the LIGHT. Enlightenment is living in the midst of the GOD Consciousness of eternal love knowing that everything IS. Does this mean we quit the path? Are we to stop looking or learning or praying or working? NO! It just means we enjoy the perfect Karma~like a dog chasing it's tail. A dog chases in order to catch its tail. (we think that to be the case). The dog bites it and feels pain, thus letting go, only to chase it again. Being the dog; means we enjoy chasing our tails. It doesn't really hurt all that bad when we bite it. It is just really fun to chase what we already have. It is the joy, the exercise, the getting dizzy and the fun that is the reward for chasing our tails. Only reasonable humans think there is something beyond that; for the dog it is the pure joy of living. It may sound strange, but in the midst of me typing this; a squirrel knocked on my door! Somehow with a walnut in its mouth, it knocked, and when I arrived the squirrel was walking away, as if I had taken too long to answer. Squirrels are so impatient! Maybe the squirrel is enlightened? hmm we all walk our own paths... I like the squirrel's path of gathering nuts in preparation for winter. It is food for the soul, we humans think it is nuts!
