LOST IN THE TRANSISTION

  • TO ALL OUR FRIENDS & CO-WORKERS AT THE UNIVERSAL LIFE MONASTERY MINISTERS NETWORK:

Tonight we received a response to a message which we had originally written to someone over one month ago.  In the process the intent and details of the original communication became quite confused as some of the original content did not make is through the "upgrade" transistion.  In the meantime we received a rather pert message 35 days after our original inquiry which responded to us as if we believed something and had said something that we had never said.

This brings us to a simple request.  Please try to respond to other people's messages in a timely fashion.  The longer the time in between responses, the greater the chance of misunderstanding or the probability that the original meaning might potentially be lost.

Our second request would be that before responding to a message one should carefully look at the reputation and track record and character of the party to whom you are writing.  If what you think or assume they were saying seems out of character, please carefully consider that they may have been quoting another party and that perhaps their effort to communicate that fact to you may have been lost when your message was altered due to technical difficulty.

We are persons who have suffered tremendously in our lives due to harrassment, predjudice and intolerance and to be accused of inflicting intolerance on others is not only a slap in the face but borders on defamation of character and does not address the original problem.

If anyone has concerns about this matter they may feel free to address them to us in open forum or via private message.  Retaliation would not be in order.

Bring no harm to others.  And for those whom we may have in the past offended in similar fashion we ask your forgiveness and the courtesy of an explanation.

    PEACE TO ALL,

    MOTHER NANHI & FATHER LESLIE
