DEAR GOD, CREATOR OF ALL: We are grateful for the miracle of the sunrise, that Fr. Leslie is walking again and able to feed himself at the Thanksgiving table because 8 years ago he wasn't doing either one. We are grateful that those who tried to take our children from us 8 years ago did not succeed and that Child Protective Services laws are changing so that people can no longer abuse the system to take out their personal vendettas on others. We are grateful for everyone here, each of us with our motley, assorted beliefs and talents, all from the same Great Spirit, all brother and sisters who want Mom to love us best. Thank You GOD for the miracle of life, for my son's birth and death and all that his life taught us about never taking anything or anyone for granted. Thank you for reminding us that LIFE IS SHORT. Help us to LIVE IT WITH THANKS. AMEN.
