WELL DONE

  • ONCE UPON A TIME THERE WAS AN IMPORTANT BOSS WITH 3 WORKERS.  To one he gave 5,000 dollars, to another 3,000 and to another 2,000.  The first invested his money and made twice as much.  The second did the same and made a little more money.  The third was afraid to take a risk and hid his money until his boss returned.

UPON THE RETURN OF THE BOSS he checked with each of the workers to see how they had taken care of the funds (talents) he gave them.  The first proudly presented his doubled earnings, the second his and the third stared at the ground where he had hid his cash.

THE BOSS praised the first two for bringing glory to themselves and the company.  Then the boss became very angry at the third man and fired him for not even trying, for having no pride and for trying to make up excuses for not doing his work.

MORAL OF THE STORY: Always take pride in your work.  You either bring GLORY to all around you and yourself or you bring SHAME to everyone who was counting on you.

This little tale is similar to some religious stories you may know from various scriptures.  It illustrates a point and its conclusions may not be agreeable to some.  It is, nevertheless, our opinion, philosophy and belief.  We share it here as knowledge, not as criticism and hope that it is useful in some way to someone.

Pastor Terry Bellamy Nothing can beat a good story if the person telling it has a talent which you do. God Bless Mother Nanhi and good night
