I have just been informed that our Christian Patriarch, J.W. Stansell has decided to leave us and I am very SAD. He stands for all which struggles, overcomes and has faith in the Christian community as well as in the Universal Life Church Monastery and yet it appears that we as a COMMUNITY HAVE FAILED J.W. STANSELL.
J.W. tells me he has received (like others have) hate mail here and elsewhere...what happened to us...all us nice people who were allegedly so concerned when J.W. was ill and hospitalized or when Megan, his daughter-in-law was also ill or on numerous occasions when he asked for prayer for his extended family and church...
WHAT IS HAPPENING TO US THAT WE ARE DIVORCING EACH OTHER FROM THAT LOVE WE SAY WE SO STRONGLY BELIEVE IN...
WHERE IS IT NOW.
Here is a copy of a short note I just posted to J.W. I wanted a copy to remain here for the record after he deletes his account (if in fact that does happen)...MUST IT COME TO THIS???!!!
J.W.: Fr. Leslie & I have rec'd the same calibar of communication in the past and some in the present. I am sorry to hear this is continuing for you. I cannot force anyone to stay anywhere and so you will have to do what you feel is best for you and your situation.
WE are voluntary CONSENTING PARTNERS here @ ULCM, all of us.
MAY I SAY along with many others that you will TRULY be MISSED.
I BELIEVE THAT WE HAVE MADE A BIG MISTAKE as a GROUP AND I PRAY THE UNIVERSE WILL somehow forgive us ALL...I wish I could convince you to stay...I have tried...but I guess I will accept your decision with GREAT SADNESS that there was not more tolerance. THE ULCM has FAILED YOU, each and every one of us !!!
And as a result we have FAILED OURSELVES...
THIS IS THE BEGINNING OF THE END...if a strong person departs then what is to become of those who are more timid...
