The Book of Joshua as a Minister

  • As I am reading the Book of Joshua, the first chapter and uncovering what makes the lesson implies, is that to begin taking notice of what plan Yahweh has for Joshua. I am even more excited as I read what is being conveyed to Joshua as if this perhaps is applicable for my life, too! Personally, I do not doubt that the same measure of sanctification, of course while following the exact definition for what the term means, that is, to being set a part from because there has been some initial payment paid to cover all costs and damages even! So, when I am reading for Joshua and understanding what he must be realizing as to himself being set apart from the men of his time along with those who will at this point become stead right up against the minister Joshua as strong pillars. And I am uncovering for me a sense of wellness knowing that Joshua’s wellbeing was more than fine, so should not my personal security be more than fine! In the passages, Joshua is to being both strong and steadfast, that and was instructed to keep the laws. Now, what I am reviewing is exactly one particular term, steadfast. Stead, means that the place or role that someone or something should have or fill, otherwise, the indication is to act as a substitute to someone or something else, in turn. So, as Yahweh as having a strategy for how He is to be intending to harvest the land set aside for Joshua. This is interesting enough because as another term is used, which is resolute. Now as I am reviewing this word, meaning to act as admirably purposeful and unwavering in the direction of this notion for no other than a victorious outcome. Strength is the word used, but it is meant to be defined as steadfast or one being stead to someone else and something else. Now, for the Heavenly Purposeful Creator to be using the term resolute that implies that something needed resolving! That problem is explained to Joshua that Yahweh had a debt to the fathers or earlier generation(s) before Moses’ generation, also, Joshua’s’.  And this is what the Heavenly Father is notorious for which is following up on His word!

The next term briefly is soliloquized which is the act of one speaking ones thoughts aloud with no regard to others as hearers and observers. In fact, Joshua was to do this openly both night and day with the addition to not withholding anything back! Now this is where the modern term for steadfast is used as strength. Strength is the emotional qualities necessary in dealing with situations or events that are distressing or difficult.  I find the passages for this book educational and strengthening all the same.

I will right about why I selected the term educational soon within another observance.
