A little bit about my beliefs and my history

  • altI believe in the power of my own/our own mind; that often overlooked part that some people might call an ESP.I don't believe in "Mind Reading" . I do believe that I am my own creator and my own destroyer and take the credit and consequences for each of these. I believe in the magic within myself and my fellow living beings, whether they be human, ape, canine, bovine, or insect. I believe that we all have a life energy that is so very powerful that it keeps our hearts beating and manipulates the chemicals that keep our brain thinking. That same energy (instinct) keeps us alive by alerting us to dangerous situations (when we are in tune enough to listen to it, or not clouded by the delusion that some lucky coincidence, or divine intervention will save us. I believe that we all have the power to see the real past, present and the future if we can focus on the task. we can also influence our own future by the same means. My favorite tools to self enlighten are the Tarot and the Pendulum. I grew up on a farm where I was taught by my grand parents to use these tools not as "Magic" but as tools that our mind can channel with the earth and water, we often used dowsing rods to find underground water, lost keys, and waterlines (before you use your Roto-Tiller or plough you better get good at this;) We used the pendulum to sort fertilized chicken eggs male from female. Later I went to work for a aviary where I also put these pendulum skills to work sorting male/female eggs before incubation. I put these skills to the side for years while I tried to find some other greater "God" or meaning to it all. With the success being that "magic" and "God" is Us! It's what we make it. I choose to Not hide behind deities and rituals that do not make sense to me just because some one wrote it in a book with a gothic cover. I choose what is within there is a great un-tapped power there. Look inside, it may take some practice, you'll find the magic!
