Unconditional Love

  • What is your view of unconditional love?  What does it mean? Is it possible for a human to love this way? Can we get over the barrier of our judgement? Unconditional love is defined as an intense feeling of affection, not altered in any way by conditions; usually this type of love is considered too good to be true, or something that only the “Creator” of all things can offer. A feeling and situation as if one can do no wrong.

Unconditional love means the true understanding of Unity.  The fact that really there is no single point or line where you end and I begin.  Understanding of this physical reality for what it represents.  Understanding that we are only different faces of the same God, source, energy or whatever you want to name this.  Understanding that when you do good or bad, it is all done to “you” because you are never-ending.  Understanding that you only judge “you” in different cloaks. It is understanding the “little you” in achieving to understand the “God or Grandiose You”.

Just like the “Grandiose You” can love anything and anyone unconditionally, because it realizes that is “ALL” it and nothing else; the “little you” is very much capable of doing the same.  The “Grandiose You” will never judge you, because it knows what it has created.  The “little you” needs to grasp the perfection of this creation and put all judgement aside.

We need to realize that every time we use a judging word, we are questioning the quality of creation.  Each and every one of us is perfect exactly as we are.  Everything in an energy based Universe can work no other way than perfect.

In fact, our limitations in giving love are our scares. We have been told growing up that we are “individuals”.  “Individuals” can hurt “individuals”.  We are afraid of loving someone no matter what because they might hurt us. Our ego feeds on our sense of individuality.  Our ego brings us to judge everything and anything.  Our ego protects us from “loving unconditionally”; because our ego needs to protect our individuality. As an individual, you are vulnerable.  As “whole” you are not.

Let’s look at this from another view. What if we don't link love to others, what if we choose to feel love towards everything and everyone, starting from ourselves? Look inside and ask: Do I love myself? Do I accept and love every aspect of me, body, mind and spirit? It is normal for us to seek love from others in the areas of life that which we cannot provide for ourselves.

The key of all this is to observe. Detach yourself from your life for a moment. Look deep into your own heart and know that you are perfect, as is everything that surrounds you. Seal the bleeding wounds you've made and absorb what your heart knows how to give you best: LOVE. Absorb it with every fiber of your being and then you'll feel the need to pause. Look around you; see the beings that surround you and are bleeding just as you did. You know you can love them now, without ever asking yourself why.

This is unconditional love.  Bask in it.  Never let it go.

    In Love & Light,

    EL
