Baptize and Confirmation

    1. Stands in the water with the person who will be baptized.
    2. For convenience and safety, holds the person’s right wrist with his left hand; the person being baptized holds the left wrist of the one performing the baptism with his or her left hand.  

    3. Raises his right arm to the square.  

    4. States the person’s full name and say, “, Repent and let persons name be baptized you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall recieve the Holy Spirit. Amen”   

    5. Has the person hold his or her nose with the right hand for convenience; the one performing the baptism places his right hand high on the person’s back and immerses the person completely, including the person’s clothing.

    6. Helps the person come up out of the water.

       

      Confirmation

       

      Confirmation is of the Holy Spirit and should be done after baptism

       

      State persons full name

       

      Confirm with the person that they have repented for there sins and were renewed through baptism

       

      Bestow the gift of the Holy Ghost by saying, “Receive the Holy Ghost.” while putting both hands on the head in prayer "the laying on of hands"


      Close the Prayer in the Name of Jesus Christ.
