A fool's Journey

  • In the beginning we were clouded in darkness in Ignorance, and Arrogance. Then Wisdom hovered over our depths and like a breathe She entered saying "Let there be Light." Then She separated the Light from the Darkness and saw that it was good.

She lifted me up and with a kiss She said, "Come and see." She then took me aside the great Tree. She offered me its Sacred Fruit saying, "Take and eat and you shall Know."

I ate, and the scales dropped from my eyes. I saw I was naked and covered myself. I looked again and the garden became an empty dream. I no longer desired its preence so I fled.

I becamed worried. I saw that I am a stranger in a strange land. I cryed. "She came to me and and whispered " I Am here with you, now and always, for ever and ever." Though the darkness came for me, Her Light rushed it back to its den.

She then shewed me the the realm of the garden and its dull articifer light. She shewed me the realms above and inky darkness that fills them. each with its own king and queen each more Ignorant and Arrogant than the last.  She then said "Together We will bring you home."  I saw Him and They beckoned I follow them. I walked along and She taught my heart, and He my mind.  I asked Who they are and She said "I Am Wisdom." He said "I Am Logic."  In unison they said as one voice, "I Am Light. I Am in you and you are in Me."

Then they shewed to me the straight and Narrow path throught the realms of darkenss frought with dangers and tribulations. Lessons and consequences.

Though I trembled, I noded and they lead me onto the path...

Kerena Hyler DD OCC I've always found beauty in the Gnostic Logos and Sophia. Something about it speaks to the soul, even if it is not your chosen path. Shalom, Rev. Theophanus.

Tony Villari I compliment your post and have to comment that, for me, this can be seen several ways, and all at one time. Evil, and yet not. Spiritual and yet atheist. It creates more question than it answers. Conflicting yet complimenting thoughts. In this way i...  more
