If God doesn't exist, ask yourself this question, "To whom should we assign fault for all the pain and suffering in the world?" If you're hearing the "Jeopardy" tune in your head, you're trying way too hard to answer. The only other scapegoat is us, hence why we assign it somewhere else. Goodness knows none of it could possibly be our fault, right? Not that we don't suck at most everything we try, which is why it all costs so damned much when we get the final product, like cancer drugs.
