Beauty:  Skin Deep?

  • Nowadays people are augmenting everything, breasts, cheeks (both sets), eyes, lips, and if that isn't your thing you can turn your skin into a canvas with a beautiful tattoo.  Hitler's minions would have loved to make a lampshade out of many large tattoos which adorn our skin.  As a matter of fact, there are businesses who will frame the tattooed skin off of a deceased loved one, as a keepsake.  Other than becoming the object of some sick ticket's desire for new furnishings, what does this really accomplish.

    Rev. Catherine Ohrin-Greipp, MSW Tattoos are an ancient form of art. What may be ugly to you is beauty to others. There is always a message. Perhaps you could open your mind and question a wearer abot the meaning ot their tats rather than be negatively judgemental.
