2011 New Years Message

  • “Should old acquaintance be forgot, and days of Auld Lang Syne?”

    Welcome 2011!  We have entered into another year that will surely be marked with resolutions and dreams by all.  However, let us not forget auld lang syne.  Auld Lang Syne means “old long since”, “long, long ago”, or “days gone by”.  For us it is “days gone by”.  We are still young for a church but we have learned plenty in the previous years.

    Looking back at 2010 it has been long but well worth it.  We obtained Apostolic Succession for the church as a whole.  We established our canons, our bylaws, and who we are.  We continued our ministry locally while attempting to find our identity as a whole.  We changed names after joining up with the Corpus Christi Communion.  We published the first edition and half of our bible, The Luminary.  We have all come to meet new people some who are friends and some who are people we learned from and helped us grow.  Much can be said about

    We can honestly say that we were active and proud members of our church.

    It is now to our resolutions that we must look.  We must set our eyes forward to 2011 and progress into the unknown.  The question is what will it hold for us?  Well let’s start with the basics of what is currently happening.  We are working on finishing the last half of the our bible, The Luminary and having it published this month.  Our seminary program is completed and up and running with actual seminarians.  We will have our finished missal and lectionary by mid-year, though we are currently using another version.  We will be having another convocation in late summer for all to join us in.  We are working diligently on putting the finishing touches of a new program “St. Raphael Chaplain Order” and “Children of Our Lady of All Time”.  We are going to continue with our outreaching and assisting those who need help; ministering to those in need of support; and encouraging others to support our great causes and mission.

    In the words from the Book of Revelation of St. John the Divine:

    “for the former things are passed away.  Behold, I make all things new.”

    That is the truth, 2010 will be nothing more for us but memories past and God has made all things new for us, for each of you, for our church, for our laity, and for all.  We must remember that no matter what hardships we have faced and struggled in 2010 that now we have entered into 2011 made new by God.

    May God bless each of you and your families as he continues his promise of making all things new in this His New Year.

    Yours in Faith,

    ++Isaac L. Kramer
