Your wave of enlightenment

  • Waves come and waves go.  This is only good news for all of us, b/c as one crashes, another swell will arise.  What we do with those waves is what counts.  If you have a bad day, caught a bad wave, stay positive b/c it will fall and you can get up and paddle out again.  That is what will define your ambition.  If you have a great day, caught a good wave, it too will fall, yet another will come, and as you paddle out to that one, it will define your greatness.  The ocean is vast, with so many waves.  Life is the same.  Waves are opportunities, and we are given that exact opportunity every day when we wake up.  We can stand on the shoreline in fear of what is ahead, or we can get out there.  It is impossible to get through to others who want to get out in that water if we fear it ourselves.  You will know you have found that wave of enlightenment when you are able to paddle out and yell for others to join you...that there is nothing to fear.  We fear what we cannot understand fully.  Instead of fearing it, understand HOW it works, when will the swells rise.  When you get HOW it works, you will also understand WHY it works that way.  When we get those two, we can emulate the greatness that comes with the territory in others.  It is easy to stand on the shoreline and appreciate the awesomeness.  It is a lot simpler to get out in the water, see your wave, and catch it.  People deserve the best, and we deserve to give it to them b/c we have been given the ability to grasp it.  Lifeguards save lifes physically...We are all spiritual lifeguards, who can save lives emotionally and spiritually, as they will never go.  Once we are done with the physical time on Earth, our spirits and souls continue on in the vast ocean that we paddled out to.  We may not be able to save all lives, but we can enhance them.  Mahalo, be blessed...be GREAT :)
