Greatest Prayer

  • As censorship undergoes an overhaul of what is and isn't "family friendly", and political correctness seeks to find gentler expressions and definitions, there is an underlying message of the power of words.  Words have an uncanny ability to create images in our minds that we, in-turn, express into our reality.  When physicists uncovered the theory of matter being made of sub-atomic strings that vibrate and bond at the same frequency, it furthered our understanding of the power of the sounds and tones we express.

Solomon suggested, "the power of life and death are in the tongue", and we know a word spoken in kindness can comfort, just as word spoken in hate can make us hurt.  But prayers is not something we speak toawrds another person but rather, it is a hopeful petition, to the unseen and unknown source that we believe exists and cares for us.  As a matter of fact, I would have to believe there is a God if I am to speak to the power of what I desires.

In the same way I would sincerely comfort someone and it is felt; or if I were to believe the hate I speak and thus, it is felt...   I would have to believe I'm being heard by the unknown, unfathomable sovereign consciousness of all awarenesses.  this belief is not such a far stretch of the imagination for those who know the power of words.  When the heart-math institute discovered the vibrational filed that surrounds us, they decided t conduct some experiments to see if that field could be intentionally projected to others.  One of the experiments was to have one subject to think something angry towards a person they saw on a monitor.  The person they were looking at was in an undisclosed location nearby and was being monitored for changes in body temperature and heart rate.

Another experiment was to think something provocative or sexual, towards a person, also in an undisclosed loaction.  In all cases, there was evidence of the vibratory field being transmitted and received between participants.  Our words, as potent sound vibrations, have an even larger effect and we already believe this is true euphamistically, when we speak to our pets and plants believe they receive and understanding what we're expressing.  Sounds and tones have both, a creative quality and a destructive ability which scientists, militaries and counselors would love to wrap their minds around and use for their own puposes.

But what about prayer?  How does prayer work, if it works at all...

Well, a righteous man - which is simply a man that believes there is something that we call "God" and believes that that "God" wants to make available the things needed - prays for the needs and health of others. But he will pray with an awareness of answered prayers are only to give people more hope and time to grow closer to knowing God and each other.  And the greatest prayer is a vibration that flows from the truth within a person's heart and mind.  We speak from that truth, as best understood, to the one consciousness that compiles and sustains our vibrating strings, in their various shapes and forms as seen by us.

    But ask yourself this:

Who is looking, when we see and are seen as a physical being?

If all awareness is consciousness and all consciousness is the Creator, is it the Creator that sees the vessel when we look at a reflection in the mirror?

Is it the conscious awareness of my/our Creator that looks out at others through my/our eyes?  I will not speak for you but, I have reached a time in my spiritual awakening that has fully persuaded me to say "yes" to this truth.  And if I am to love the Lord, my God, My Father and My Creator with all of my heart, all of my soul, all of my mind and all of my strength, then in that order is also my greatest prayer.  Including and especially loving others as myself; because they are as I am, and I see them through the windows of my soul's truth.

My This Serve As Your Pathway....
