Many Christian Theologians believe Jesus died and decscended into the pits of hell, setting hell's captives and prisoners free.
Then, they've said, three days later, He Ascended to Earth again, revealing Himself to His Desciples after "snatching" the "keys to death and hell."
The spiritual imagery of their description has tangible merit also, if you remember, for some people hell is not much different than the violent Earthly existence without GOD.
Shere survival in lives without "knowledge of The Kingdom and GOD within" has caused our friends, our family members and, our neighbors to live lives of lieing, cheating, stealing, killing, and/or destroying, regardless of how innocent a new born child we all once were.
Though we're born innocent in thoughts, we're still born with the "sin" genes of our physical fathers, in addition to being born into a world of billions of father - sin carriers.
The True Good News is, we breathe the breath of life, which is the spirit of GOD spoken into us, as His Genome Image and Breathful Likeness.
GOD's mirrored relationship with us was, and is and will be redeemed into our awareness of having a genomic and spiritual relationship with Jesus and others, which is why He descended to Earth, died, and then Descended to Hell.
Absolving the world, redeeming the world and restoring the world of believers from the captivity of separation.
Christians can be assured and reassured, if they renew their minds
with daily study of this truth.
