Unseen Life Events

  •

Life is hard, or atleast that is what Jason Morison thought. Every night he would close his eyes and bow down his head and begin a conversation, in hopes that someone close by would hear him and carry on the conversation with him, but as always no one is listening. He dreads waking up every morning, because he knows that as soon as he get's cleaned up and dressed, that was going to be the moment that bad luck hits him over the head. Even though each day ends up being a complete nightmare, he still manages to continue own. Jason as most would have it, is a very kind and caring type of person, with high hopes, and many dreams of success. But what they fail to see that he hides so well, the fact that he is always depressed!

The year is 1818, location, a small quiet little town with a population of 20. A woman, goes by the name Janet Holmes, who seems to always never be seen outside, but mostly standing out her window, with hardly a smile upon her face. No one knows quite sure as of why she never comes out, but she lives in complete fear of the outside world and this is why: a couple of years ago, Janet was walking down the road that leads from the front of her house. She is just out walking minding her own business taking in the beauty of the country life when out of no where a cowboy jumps out from one of the buildings she was passing by. He grabs her, cover her face so she couldn't scream, takes her beside the building and rapes her, leaving her for dead, but some how she survived. She staggers home, and ever since then she has never left her house for anything.

A little girl 9 years old, was playing by herself one day, when a stranger approached her. He was in his 50's, kind of rough looking. She didn't know that she wasn't suppose to talk to strangers, matter of fact, she seen her parents talk to people all the time, so she didn't see the danger ahead for her. The stranger went by the name George Hinkle, he just escaped from a mental ward, not far from where the little girl was playing. "Hello, little one, my name is George, what's your name?" asked George. "My name is Cindy." she said with a smile. "Hello Cindy, how come you are by yourself?" asked George. "Well I really don't have any friends, but I'm okay with that, I like playing by myself." Cindy replies. George stared at her for a moment, then looked around to see if any adults where around, then looked at her and asked: "Where are your parents?" "They are at home sleeping, they had a pretty busy night, last night." Cindy replies. Moments later Cindy's parents went looking for her, but she was no where to be found and no one close by had seen her. Scared out of their minds, they call the police and placed a missing child report, but from where she had not been missing for more than 24 hours, there really wasn't much the police could do, but luckily they where friends with the Captain.

The police Captain, Frank Shunner, decided to go out on patrol to see if she wondered off. He drives by the park and sees an old man sitting at the bench. So he get's out and walks up to the old man to ask him a few questions. As he approached the old man, he noticed that the old man was acting kind of funny, so he decided to run a check on him as well. He walks up to the old man and introduces himself as the Captain of the Police Department. Captain Shunner asked if he had seen a little 9 year old girl that answers to the name Cindy, and the old man said no he don't think he has. Then Captain Shunner asked for his ID, but the old man wasn't carrying one, so he asked for his social and full name! "George Hinkle, social is 333-33-4388" says George. The Captain ran his information in the system and an alert popped up showing that George was an escaped mental patient. Captain Shunner cuffed George and escorted him back to the mental ward. Cindy however was no where to be found and an Amber alert was issued.

A few months went by and a call came into the police department, complaining of a very strong Oder that smelled pretty bad was coming from the woods behind the park where Cindy came up missing. An officer went to investigate and the one most worst crime scene that every officer prays to never come across is a dead body of a child, this officer's worst nightmare came true when he discovered a body of a little girl that seem to have been in the woods for quite sometime. The body was badly decomposed, so there was no way of making a visible positive identification. So once the body was taken to the morgue, the crime scene was taped off. Dental Records showed that the body belong to a little 9 year old girl that came up missing a few months ago that was known by the name Cindy. The parents were then called in to claim the body.

It is very important for parents to keep a close eye on their children for this very reason. Just because they live in a very safe neighborhood, doesn't mean that something bad will never happen to them. They must teach their children to never talk to a stranger, no matter the age and no matter how nice they are for this very reason. Never leave your child alone, and never sleep all hours of the day while the child is up, for this very reason that happened to Cindy.

Was the bad person caught? Well male DNA was found on Cindy's body and it belonged to an elderly man by the name of George Hinkle, the police went to pick him up but when they got there at the mental ward where George was located at, they discovered that he had passed away a month after Cindy had came up missing. When Captain Shunner had found this out, he was pissed. He actually had this guy in custody, how was it that he didn't suspect him? Thing is, no one would have suspected him, so it was one of those things that just happens to be, so please, when your children are out playing, make sure that they are where you can see!
