When you say that you hear voices, people take it as you are mental. When you say that you have dual personalities people think that you have some kind of a disorder. When you claim to have an alternate ego, you are deemed insane! You act all violent and scream your head off, you are deemed psychotic, you cut yourself just to be cutting yourself and you are placed on a suicide watch. When you know someone is after you and have no way of proving it but have seen it with your own eyes, they brand you as a Schizophrenic.
But it is normal to see ghost, to believe that a demon is trying to take over your soul, the fact that you believe that a higher being that you call God is talking to you and you talk to him. It is normal to see angels and other things that is deemed religious.
Psychics are not even classified as in having a mental disorder. This covers the empathy, and mediums along with Gypsies. Witches or witch craft however is forbidden and even that could land you in the mental disorder category.
The point being made is, people say that those who are claiming to have more than one side to them are mentally disturbed and chalks them out as being crazy. This is even true for women who think that they are a man, or a man that thinks he is a woman, they to others are struck with a personality disorder and they then get placed below the normal list!
This is the only way to rationalize it, but I am here to support your alternate egos and tell you that you are just as sane as the rest of the world, because if the religious people can live out their lives believing in a high power, make themselves slaves to that power, believe in angels and demons, without being deemed crazy, they those with alternate egos should be allowed to live out their lives with these egos without being deemed crazy as well, because believing in these things really only makes you as human as the rest of mankind!
THINK ABOUT IT BEFORE YOU DEEM SOMEONE CRAZY FOR THINKING DIFFERENTLY THAN YOU!
