I woke up early this morning and went outside to watch the Beautiful Canadian Sunrise and saw a Cat walking along the grass line. I could tell right off it was on the hunt. This Cat was obviously someone's pet. It had a flea collar on as well as a leash collar. Not to mention that it was pretty fat, which I am going to stab at WELL FED. However, this Cat was on the hunt. Why? Obviously not out of NEED, but more so out of INSTINCT. That Instinct which is part of it's genetic make up. A Trained,well hardned Soldier looks upon the devastation he caused on a Village and it's inhabitants and his eyes fill with tears, is it INSTINCT ? or is it the NEED for emotional release? I will say the later. As I watched my Beautiful Wife sleep this morning, all I wanted to do was to wrap my loving arms around her and protect her from any harms that may come her way. Do I feel this way out of NEED or INSTINCT? I feel this out of INSTINCT ! ( Seems like Deja' Vu ) I have heard so many times from people who say they believe in nothing, " Oh God help me" when things go bad or " Thank God " when things go good for them. I think as Humans we NEED to believe in a Higher Power in our lives, No matter what that Higher Power may be. If for nothing other than something other than ourselves to blame things on when they go wrong. Some of us believe in a Higher Power because we feel the NEED to believe that something or Someone is there 24/7/365 to give us security and peace of mind. Do we NEED out of INSTINCT or do we have INSTINCT out of NEED? Please everybody weigh in, I would love to hear your thoughts......PEACE and have a Great Day........
