The day I became ordained here and joined this site was a wonderful day for me! Over the last few months I have sat back and observed. Everything stated here is my own opinion based upon my own observations!
This ministry site has a few "secrets" and secrets are not any good. If anyone has to keep secrets then they are trying to hide the truth by doing so!!! I am a very observant person and can put two and two together very well. I am sure others can do the same. Many here are either married or are in serious long term relationships. Many, I would hope, are not here to find dates or paramours. Shame on those people who use a site such as this to deceive others!!! That is a gross abuse of a ministry site, in my opinion!!! (It brings to mind what my grandmother used to tell me..."Beware of the wolf in sheep's clothing".) It is very disheartening to me that a site where grown adults act like schoolchildren playing redundant and ridiculous games with each other and telling lies, secret messages, etc. to meet women and/or men is despicable (if one or the other wants it to be more than just a friendship)!! This is a MINISTRY site!! Not a dating or secret hook up site...People need to start being honest and up front with one another
about themselves and their lives outside of this ministry site! That is all about respect, honesty, integrity, honor, and morals!!! I, for one, am not here to have to wonder what guise anyone may be up to by asking for a friend request. I am in a relationship! If anyone crosses the line beyond friendship ...understand from the get go that I will tell you off!!!!! I would have thought that by people joining a site such as this they could be mature and respectful enough of others to not cross the line of friendship! Guess, I was wrong in making that assumption! I am sure many think that they will not get caught.....well think again.....everyone gets caught eventually!! Trust and believe that they do!!
Anymore, I am leery about what to post on this site because it seems that there are those on this site who would like to do nothing but cause chaos and unnecessary drama all based upon their beliefs and ideals! My thought process is this: if someone does not agree with someones post ...then fine do not agree with them. That is everyone's perogative here. I see many on here who deliberately try to goad others for mere fun by leaving snide comments and using the main wall to bash one another all in the name of their beliefs and ideals! We all here are not going to agree with each other on every issue. That is because this is a ministry site geared for all people....of all faiths and belief systems! Not one person on this site should feel it is necessary to belittle or demean others in the name of their faith!!!! No one here is a "Holier than though" person who sits high upon a pedestal! God is known by many names!!! Have we all become so arrogant to think that our religion or belief is the only one???!!!! What is right for me ...is not going to be right for someone else!! LOVE, KINDNESS,COMPASSION, RESPECT, and INTEGRITY are all universal through all belief systems! If everyone on a site like this can not get along...how in the world do we think we can make any sort of difference anywhere else??????!!!!!! I am a Christian!!! I believe that what I have been taught all my life is the right path for me! I pray and hope that I am correct in what I believe!! I have faith that what I believe is right! However, I am not going to stand on a soapbox and say that my way is the only way. I, myself believe that it is but, I have enough respect for what this site stands for to be kind to everyone of all faiths! I, pray for everyone here. Whether they believe as I do or not. I am not here to try and change anyones mind to coincide with my beliefs and ideals! I can only try to be a beacon of light to anyone who may need it and to treat others as I want to be treated!!!!
Furthermore, this site is not a popularity contest. I, for one do not care one iota how many friends someone else has made or how often my own profile has been seen! I am not so arrogant to think that everyone is going to want to be my friend. I know many will not want to be and many may unfriend me after reading this blog. Again, that is their perogative! I am who I AM! I am not going to change one wee bit for anyone! When I offer friendship it is with a pure heart and no ulterior motives!!!!
With all that being said... We are all supposed to be grown mature adults and responsible people!!!! I joined this site to grow spiritually and to LEARN more from other people about their belief systems and to make new FRIENDS...nothing more!!!!
