Trying Year so far

  • Working as a Chaplain in a Rehabilation Center / Nursing Home, I find myself getting really attached to the people there. That, you would think is a good thing, but unfortunately several of my Christian Brothers and Sisters have been called home this year. My heart goes out to the families as they miss there loved one, but I must continue to encourage them that their loved one is with The Lord and is in no more pain and suffering. It's been a trying year so far and it's only half over. I pray for everyone who does the job I do because I need the Lords strength and guidance to do this. Thank you all for your support and prayers.

Shepherd Donald Becker The source of all suffering is clinging, not loss. Loss is a part of life as much as breathing. And the hardest loss it the loss of one we care about. But the clinging is essentially selfish. This is very difficult to practice, though. I wish you strength.
