And it seems lik... moreIt always seems to me that bad things… negative stuff… happens by earthquakes, floods, bombs and mass murders, and good stuff happens one grain of sand at a time. Tiny, tiny acts of kindness. Moments of realization. Half an hour of peace. And it seems like it isn’t enough. How can it be enough?
Then I look at the layers of rock in our Cascadian mountains and realize that those mountains were laid down one grain at a time.
