Live the life you deserve

  • When you look in the mirror what do you see? Do you like who you are looking at? If not then become the person you like. It really is not that hard.

First of all you really should not let the media dictate what image you should have of your body. Our bodies are all different and no magazine can say what body is right for you. If you feel good then chances are, you are good.

If you hate your job then you really need to put some thought into what you would like to do and then make it happen. Maybe you have to go to school or maybe you have to just go for it. Different careers demand different levels of experience and education.

Too skinny? Then eat healthy and get active. Too fat? Eat healthy and get active. Let your body decide what it wants to do. Learn to accept yourself once you get to the size that you are going to be. Maybe you are just a small person. It happens.

Lonely then get active. You will not find that someone special setting alone in your house looking at a computer screen. Every time you meet someone from an on-line service you are rolling the dice. People are never as pretty as their profile picture and rarely what they pretend to be on-line. Yes it can happen.  But once again you are rolling the dice. Getting active gives you a chance to meet someone who shares the same interest as you.

Sick and tire of being sick and tired? I am willing to bet that you can Change most of this by watching what you eat. Read the ingredients on every single thing you eat. Almost all process foods are loaded with sugar and sugar is toxic. Think about it. In nature sweets are used to lure pollinators. We are NOT pollinators and the sweets of cane and other plants are not meant for us. Plants often try to drive off or kill predators that eat them and not benefit them. We do not benefit cane.  Splenda is made out of sugar and chorine. Chorine is poison as is the sugar and you are giving yourself a double dose of poison. Sugar is highly addictive. Don’t believe me? Quit all sugar for a month. I dare you. And I am willing to bet you cannot do it. Several people (me included) tried this as a social experiment and I lasted the longest at 33 days. Most only lasted a few days and one just a few weeks. It was painful and in the first weeks I even lost time at work because I was having withdrawals so bad I could not function.

If you are tired all the time then maybe you should cut back on the processed foods and sugar. Eat fruit and cook your foods naturally. Get a Wok. They are easy and fast. I have cut way back on the sugar and I feel much better.

Diet food is loaded with sugar because corporations can legally call it diet if they replace the fats, (oils) with sugar. Sugars are not considered fats even though sugar will make you fat. Something to think about.

Meditate and find quiet times. This helps.

Creating helps a lot. Art, music, or other outlets like crafting can do wonders when it comes to making you feel good. Just the sight of something you created can be a major boost to your self-esteem. It can turn into something profitable as well.

Before you buy that exercise machine that you will never ever use just walk around the block. Walk with others and see interesting things. Go places and walk around. Join groups and meet interesting people to walk with. You never know what could happen. But you will feel a lot better if you couple this with eating foods that are not chemical laced and loaded with sugar.

Your body is a temple and if you do not feel well then something is wrong. You are not supposed to feel bad. Your doctor will fill you will chemicals and call them medicines and before you know it you will be a walking pill box. I have never heard a doctor tell a person to get off their lazy ass and walk, work out and eat healthy until your blood pressure goes down. Or die. Your choice. I have never heard a doctor tell a person to by a bicycle and ride down some bike trails while looking at nature and practicing thinking positive thoughts. Stop and meditate and concentrate on the positive rather than setting around getting fatter and fatter and more depressed. Instead they say here is a pill for depression, here is a pill for your blood pressure here is an upper to counteract the anti-depressant, oh and here is another pill to get you down from the upper. Take this pill for your upset stomach so you can continue eating spicy foods and take this pill to loosen your bowel because that cocktail of pills I gave you is plugging you up.

Doctors are not bad people. The pharmaceutical companies love them and think they are wonderful. They are. After all it took many long hours to remember the names of all of those pills and they had to go to school for a very long time to learn how to pump you full of pills rather than do a proper diagnoses and tell you that you are too old or too fat or smoke too much or to stop eating crap. 99% of our problems enter our bodies through our mouths.

Truth is: we are digging our graves with our teeth.

But what about the spiritual stuff? After all I am supposed to be a minister right? Well that is a different topic for a different day. I think you have had enough for now. For now you need to go and have a salad and plan your meals for this week. You need to call up a friend and have a pleasant chat… on the phone not texting; better yet in person. You need to learn to love to person in the mirror even if it seems like no one else in the whole world loves you. Because one you learn to love yourself you will be open to finding someone who loves you too. Once you love yourself you will feel that you deserve a better life even if it means taking the steps to get a better job, better education, better relationships and pretty much better everything. You are actively living the life that you think you deserve. Yes you are. You think that you deserve what you are living right now and once you truly love yourself you will see that you honestly deserve better.

I don’t know you but I love you because I love me. Because I love me I can love everyone and everything in the world.

Peace, and a long and happy life.

    James
