Meditative Thought “What I Know About Compassion”
Charles Fillmore’s "The Revealing Word - A Dictionary of Metaphysical Terms" defines compassion as "In the heart of God exists an eternal tenderness and mercy for His children.” He also goes on to define human compassion as, "A compassionate mind sees the error, but does not condemn.” There is a calling, on your life, to be compassionate and loving with everyone, but more importantly we must love and show compassion with ourselves. Be slow to condemn yourself but quick to forgive your errors.   Learn to love from the overflow.  Fill up yourself first and then share what is overflowing.  Compassion, with myself comes first.  It starts with me and then it spreads abroad.

Affirmations:  Today, the power of Love and compassion dwells within my soul.  Divine radiant light shines from my spirit.  I Love from the overflow of God, which fills my heart.  Self-love is my birthright.  The God-quality of Compassion is what I am; therefore I am the first to receive it.
