"21 Days of Prayer" Day 2

  • Last night I started my 21 day journey of prayer with Skip. I  found a small notebook, wrote down what my assignment was and the affirmation, then wrote my letter to God, to the Divine. I told God about my fears of strugglings financially, of the needs I have that must be met, and how my requests and prayers to angels and spirit for help feel unanswered when it comes to manifesting and filling my daily support. I shared my frustrations and needs for more than the internal feelings of connection, that this life on earth, this physical body needs shelter, food, love affection and that at times my teeth need attention, that my family relationships need help to stay in a spirit of love to work through our growing pains. Then I closed my notebook, as I told God, "There, it is all in your hands now, I need you to help me." and I went to bed a little lighter having handed it over to the Divine, and to the angels, Ariel, Chamuel, Rapheal, and Micheal, that I have been asking for specific help from. Nothing more I could or can do. Each day I know that I go forth doing all that I can.

Today is Day 2. and here is the guidence for it. See you tomorrow. I'll let you know how it's going.

    Cheers.

Just For Today “21 Days of Prayer-Day 2”

Meditative Thought: Most people believe in God, a Universal force that governs our existence. Prayer is a way to access and communicate with that energy. I use to pray to a God outside myself, asking and beseeching a gray-old father figure, for the desires of my heart. Now I understand, God is within each and every being. I am one with this all-powerful force. I pray with an understanding, I am one with the source of life.

I use a form of prayer called, “Affirmative Prayer.” Instead of begging for something, affirmative prayer states the truth of life. Affirmative prayer declares our unification with God. I believe, we have everything we need. Affirmative prayer is a tool to anchor that belief.

It is no longer who I am praying to; it is where I am praying from. I am praying from a place of knowing that I am Love, Joy, Abundance, Wholeness, Peace, Order, Balance, Gratitude, Oneness, and Compassion. Affirmative prayer is a prayer field anchored by the universe, immersed in God.

Spiritual Assignment: Today, during your prayer time, practice affirmative prayer. Speak the truth of who you are. Say, “I am Abundance, Love, Joy, Grace, Compassion, Creativity, Wholeness and Prosperity.” Take time to journal your feelings and the vibration affirmative prayer gives you.

Affirmations: Just for today, my life is the life of God and I am one with all Divine qualities. And so I let it be. Amen.
