Is it wrong?

  • I was raised baptist and according to them, even seeking to be in any ministry other than teaching children or music is ungodly. A woman can't even be the musical director, as that would put her in a position of teaching men possibly and that is ungodly in their eyes. Frankly, I'm a bit scared. Is my Father going to beat me with a stick for daring to minister in His name? I'm officiating at a committment ceremony for a man and woman who can't legally marry or he will lose his disability (SSI). The law allows him to live with his girlfriend, but not to marry. They have a small child. The man is my son, Andrew. SSI already takes their joint income into account, but as soon as they marry, the same income will put them over and he will lose his assistance. He has a very, very severe disability. Is it wrong to ask Gods blessing on this committed couples life together? Words of wisdoms needed, also prayers, I'm having a very rough night with my diverticular disease pain and very concerned about my health. It seems to be that I occasionally eat foods that later cause such suffering and there is no cure except to wait it out and notate the food as I edible for me, alas. Chicken Parmesan is the culprit,

Sister Janet Bowser, BA Bible Theology It's all in the past now. The wedding was nice, yes, that is them in the picture. The anxiety is past and most of the problems that I was anticipating never arrived. I need to remember that. Worrying is stupid.
