Do people who commit Suicide go to Heaven Immediately?

  • Do people who commit suicide go to Heaven Immediately?

    <!-- End of top_header -->

    Introduction

    This is an attempt to answer to the question "Do people who commit suicide go to Heaven immediately.” I'm assuming that people who read this are familiar with the Bible, and most of the concepts and scriptures already. I'm also assuming the ability to use basic research tools.

    I will state my views, then give a list of verses that I believe justifies many of them. I am using the King James Version of the Bible in this document, both because it was requested, and because we have hundreds of years of culture based around it. A quote from it is far more likely to be recognized than from other translations. I have looked at the newer, more recently accepted Alexandrian based Greek texts, as well as Metzer's textual commentary on the NA27/UBS3 text on most of the Greek verses. I've mostly used the Mazoratic text for the old testament with limited references to the LXX, and I've used Strong's analytic capabilities using the SWORD library tools.

    ("Fear" used in KJV often maybe better translated "Respect." The word instructs to not fear, to not believe negatively. "Trembling" shows strong emotion, as in Ps 2:11 Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.)

    As always, don't accept my or anybody else views on the Word. Study to make sure:

    Phil 2:12, 13Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

    Key Points

    1. The dead are dead. Christians do not go to heaven, paradise, or the second death until Christ returns. Non-Christians are raised in one of two resurrections after Lucifer is defeated.
    2. Christians (Roman 10:9,10) will pass through the heavens when they go to where Christ hath prepared them a place.
    3. Lucifer and his hosts will be destroyed in the Lake of Fire.
    4. Saved Christians, their spouses, and children will always go to heaven when the Last enemy, Death, is defeated, no matter what state of "grace" they were in when they were changed or they died. (They are sanctified so they are holy.)
    5. Jews who fulfilled their legal requirements will be raised in the Resurrection of the Just. After that, they will go to Paradise on the New Earth.
    6. Others will be raised in the Resurrection of the Unjust and be subject to the "Second Death."

    Role of the Word of God

    Because of my observations while working of the word, I believe that the Bible as originally given is in fact the word of God. It is Good, Acceptable, and has Inner Harmonious Perfection. To understand it, one must pay close attention to whom each part is written, local and broader contexts, the actual meaning of each word as used in the Bible, figures of speech, and the usage of language at the time and place where each part was written.

    Detail Discussion

    <!-- Creation of Body Soul Spirit -->

    Three things were created in Genesis: Heavens and Earth (Matter-Energy), Soul Life, and Spirit for Man. Man was created as a three part being, his Body (plant life) was formed, his Soul (breath life, blood) was made from that created for aquatic and land animals. Mankind's Spirit, (in the image of God, who is Spirit), was created new, from nothing. That's the difference between "made" and "created." Of course, "formed" required almost no changes to the base elements.

    <!-- Dominion over earth -->

    God gave Adam dominion over the earth and it's animals. Adam committed High Treason, and ceded it to the fallen angel Lucifer, who had caused the first heaven and earth to become void and without form. All of Adam's descendants are born with this sin nature.

    <!-- Tree of Life Second Adam -->

    However, God had also made another legal way out, another man's soul, "stored," maybe as the Tree of Life in the garden. Lucifer did not gain control of him.

    <!-- Death of Adam's Spirit -->

    God had told Adam that the day he ate from the tree, he would surly die. Adam's spirit, his direct connection to God, died. Adam, Eve, and their descendants were now two-part beings, basically owned my Lucifer, the god of this world. However, Lucifer was aware that God had a solution, and so kept working to stop it instead of destroying man outright. He attacked what was prophesied as the promised Christ line.

    <!-- Spirit Upon Man -->

    From the point the death of Adam's spirit, God had to come into physical manifestation to talk to man: voice in wilderness, burning bush, etc. Because of the Law of Believing that God had already set up, he could place an aspect of the Spirit of Man, in limit measure, upon people who believed. It allowed more direct contact, without needing a physical manifestation.

    <!-- Jesus gets Spirit in full measure -->

    Jesus, the son of Mary and however God stored the seed from the Garden, received the Spirit created for man in full measure when it descended upon him "like a dove" when he was baptized with water by John the Baptist) Jesus could have lost it; he could have given in to temptation like Adam did, but he didn't; he was tempted in all ways like we are, yet without sin.

    <!-- Lucifer murders Jesus, Christ arises, Man made whole, the Mystery -->

    Lucifer, by murdering Jesus, lost some of his control. Starting on the day of Pentecost, after Christ had been raised from the dead by God, passed through the heavens, people who believe that God raised Jesus from the dead, and confess with their mouth Christ Jesus as their Lord 'shalt [absolute] be saved.' "Saved" means to be made whole: in this case, to be united with Spirit, the Spirit that was in Christ, in full measure. This is the mystery that was hidden from the beginning of the world, until it was revealed to Paul. Had Lucifer known it, he would not have crucified Jesus. He would rather have Jesus alive on earth than to have bunches of us with the spirit of Christ in us, with his full power.

    <!-- Sin versus sins, Sonship rights -->

    When we are made whole, our old Sin nature dies. However, we still have many affects of having had it. When we are made whole, we are redeemed, sanctified, justified, and made righteous. We are children of God. However, we often don't fully believe our standing in God's house. We allow things to get in the way of our relationship with God; these things are called sins--our Sin nature is gone, but our habits are not. We are not perfect in our heads, and never will be. These sins cause us separation from the promises of God, not because he has a problem with us, but because we do: we don't believe we are good enough for him.

    <!-- Law of Believing -->

    We have to get over our fear, doubt, and self-condemnation to get many of the benefits of being children of God. However, we _are_ still his children; we still have our Spirit; we are still whole.

    <!-- The dead are dead -->

    When a person dies, they are dead. There aren't thoughts or emotions in the grave. I know, there are a couple of parables where somebody is alive in hell. A parable is a figure of speech, an extended simile. Similes use "like" or "as" to make a comparison to emphasize a point. They are the weakest form of comparison: one can't correctly draw a conclusion from one that is outside of the point being directly made. A metaphor is a stronger figure that allows us to make more broad comparisons. (An allegory is the wider version--an extended metaphor.)

    <!-- Christ's Return -->

    When Christ returns in the clouds, believers who have died will be resurrected with spiritual bodies like he has now, and the living Christians will be changed in the twinkling of an eye. We will join him in the clouds and go with him to the place he has been preparing for us.

    <!-- Defeat of Lucifer --> <!-- Resurrections -->

    After we return with him and battle Lucifer's hosts, there will be a resurrection of the just, then one of the unjust. The resurrection of the just will include the Jews who met the conditions for their time period, and those who believed him after his second coming. At the resurrection of the unjust, those who ae judged unjust will "die the second death." Lucifer and his hosts will be consumed in the lake of fire. There will be a new heaven and a new earth. Christians will go through the heavens, Jews who believed will be in Paradise, the new equivalent of Eden, on Earth.

    <!-- Confusion of Meaning of Hell -->

    "Hell" in the bible is interpreted by most people like the Greek Hyades. A better translation of the word would be "gravedom." In the Old Testament, the same word is more often seen that way. God is a god of mercy.

    <!-- closing -->

    Please check the verses against your Bible. I copied and pasted them, but I could have messed them up while editing.
